Meerespolitik in stürmischer See: Welche Wellen schlägt die 3. UN-Ozeankonferenz?
Anlässlich der UN-Ozeankonferenz lädt die Deutsche Gesellschaft für die Vereinten Nationen mit der Deutschen Meeresstiftung, den Botschaften von Frankreich und Costa-Rica, Brot für die Welt und Fair Oceans zu einer Veranstaltung zum Schutz und der nachhaltigen Nutzung der Weltmeere am 27. Mai um 17 Uhr ein.

Ocean Decade Dialogue online am 15. Mai
In diesem ersten Dialog widmen wir uns der ersten Herausforderung der UN-Ozeandekade, ein sauberer Ozean, in dem die Quellen für Verschmutzung bekannt sind und die Einträge reduziert oder beseitigt werden, mit besonderem Blick auf die Ostsee, den HELCOM-Aktionsplan für die Ostsee und die Arbeit der Sea Terra GmbH im Bereich der Kampfmittelräumung und -entsorgung. Wir sind in Berlin bei der ersten Nationalen Meereskonferenz
Circa 400 Delegierte treffen sich heute zur ersten deutschen Nationalen Meereskonferenz, die von der noch amtierenden Umweltministerin Steffi Lemke eröffnet wurde und insbesondere die Politik Verwaltung und Wissenschaft und einige ausgewählte Nichtregierungsorganisationen teilnehmen.

Invisible worlds: From the microcosm in the ocean to the universe
The German Ocean Foundation brings the ocean into the planetarium - and opens up new perspectives on the smallest and biggest secrets of our world. In an innovative pilot project, impressive images of microorganisms were produced in two workshops in Niendorf on the Baltic Sea using high-resolution cameras and state-of-the-art microscopes - in close collaboration with the team of experts from ZEISS.
